Improved Technology-Engineered For Strength: Featuring PLD technology that optimizes 25 layers of carbon fiber, the CATALYST 9X is designed with an advanced laminate construction to reduce overall stick weight without impacting durability. The laminate construction optimizes fiber angles and provides both improved stiffness and impact strength.
New BAT Technology-Designed for Control: Yielding greater blade consistency and vibration damping properties on impact, our BAT technology incorporates lightweight braided aramid sleeves from the heel to the toe of the blade for a softer feel with superior accuracy.
Spread Tow Fabric-Optimized Weight: 59% lighter than the fabric used in the 2019 XC9, our all-new, high quality spread tow fabric encapsulates the CATALYST 9X shaft and blade, providing unmatched strength in a lightweight build for shot consistency and power.

New PASS, Performance Advanced Strengthening System, results in a 25% increase in strength over our historic XCORE technology.
The increase in strength allows for a less rigid blade and prevents premature foam break down for increased blade durability.
Our patented Axenic Technology combines a compression molded shaft into a true one-piece stick results in a seamless build, putting the player’s hands in direct contact with the puck.

Return Policy
Each order will be accompanied with our return instructions. Return shipping will be at the cost of the customer. To return a product, you must fill out your return shipping label and send it with the product to:

Note: For International Returns please mark the reason for shipping as Returned Merchandise on customs information.
Hockey Lion offers a full refund or exchange on all regular priced online purchases of products if they are returned in the condition in which they were sold, with original tags, within 30 days of purchase. All returned items must be unused, in new condition and resalable. Hockey Lion does not take back items that have been used (including sharpened/molded skates or cut/taped sticks). In addition, Hockey Lion does not accept returns of closeout items, jocks and undergarments and pro stock items.
Custom Bladetech, Skates, Stick orders cannot be returned. Cancellations of custom blades will be accepted within 12 hours of being placed. After this point in time they will be sent into production and will not be able to be cancelled.
Until Hockey Lion receives the returned item(s), you are responsible for any loss. Where appropriate, your payment will be refunded to your account within thirty (30) days of receipt. If you return an item not accompanied by the required paperwork there may be a delay in processing your order and in refunding your money.
