Keeping your child in the game is usually a matter of keeping them comfortable, protected, and having fun. The AS-V Pro Youth shin guards combine pro looks with elite-level protection and comfort for little hockey players. With D3O foam and snug lock straps, the AS-V Pro checks all the boxes, assuring your child can continue to enjoy the game to its fullest.
Shin Protection
The shin cap has an anatomical design that not only offers great protection but also molds to shape around small legs. When it fits well, you play better, and the same goes for young players as well.
Knee Cap & Protection
The molded PE knee cap is built wide and with indentations designed to disperse impact force outward and away from the knee. This design is aerodynamic and mimics what adults use at the pro level.
Calf Protection
The AS-V Pro uses an extended foam calf guard to protect your child’s calves. The foam padding is soft and anatomical, making it extra comfy for young players. The extension continues further down the shin to add some extra coverage.
Liner
The liner is where your child will feel the guard the most, meaning that it’s extra important that that area is incredibly soft and comfortable. That is why CCM used a soft, removable comfort liner with D3O at the top near the knee. The removable liner allows for customizability in sizing, and the D3O foam offers military-grade protection against any impact force that may come in.
Strapping
One of the most potentially distracting and uncomfortable parts of hockey gear for kids can be the shin guard straps. If they’re not comfortable or are difficult to strap on, it can become frustrating for young players and put a damper on their overall enjoyment of the game. The AS-V Pro mitigates this problem with a stretchy upper lock strap and wide mesh comfort strap. The lock strap helps hold everything together, while the calf strap also covers a wide surface area, lowering discomfort. The straps also have a wide and long landing strip for the velcro, making it easy for young players to fit the shin guards on themselves.

Return Policy
Each order will be accompanied with our return instructions. Return shipping will be at the cost of the customer. To return a product, you must fill out your return shipping label and send it with the product to:

Note: For International Returns please mark the reason for shipping as Returned Merchandise on customs information.
Hockey Lion offers a full refund or exchange on all regular priced online purchases of products if they are returned in the condition in which they were sold, with original tags, within 30 days of purchase. All returned items must be unused, in new condition and resalable. Hockey Lion does not take back items that have been used (including sharpened/molded skates or cut/taped sticks). In addition, Hockey Lion does not accept returns of closeout items, jocks and undergarments and pro stock items.
Custom Bladetech, Skates, Stick orders cannot be returned. Cancellations of custom blades will be accepted within 12 hours of being placed. After this point in time they will be sent into production and will not be able to be cancelled.
Until Hockey Lion receives the returned item(s), you are responsible for any loss. Where appropriate, your payment will be refunded to your account within thirty (30) days of receipt. If you return an item not accompanied by the required paperwork there may be a delay in processing your order and in refunding your money.
