Skate Sharpening

We offer skate sharpening at all of our Hockey Lion locations. The cost is $10 CAD and takes about 5 minutes for one pair to be completed. No appointment is required.

Sharpening is measured on the scale of an inch. The industry standard sharpening is a 1/2 inch. The sharper you go on this scale the more bite your skate will have, but you will sacrifice glide. The inverse can be said when you get a duller sharpen, more glide and less bite.
